The third season of “Veep” reaped a series best nine Emmy nominations. Among these were bids for Iannucci as both producer and write of this political satire. Louis-Dreyfus has won Comedy Actress for two years running and lead’s this year’s race as well. And Tony Hale is a strong possibility to pick up a bookend supporting trophy.

We’ll talk with Iannuccci about the show’s awards success, including at this weekend’s TCA Awards,  and find out where it heads next now that Selina has the top job.
