‘Dancing with the Stars’ preview: Sorry Billy Dee Williams, the fans won’t save you this time

Billy Dee Williams‘s luck is about to run out. According to our predictions, he’ll be the next sent home on “Dancing With the Stars,” getting overwhelming 3/10 odds to be eliminated, followed by NeNe Leakes with 7/2 odds and, surprisingly, James Maslow, one of last week’s top scorers, who gets odds of 18/1.

Did James Maslow deserve his high scores for showing skin?

Williams has posted the lowest judges’ score for the first two weeks in a row: 15 out of 30 for both dances. He was spared elimination last week, however, thanks to ample fan support, which was bad news for the next two lowest week-one dancers: swimmer Diana Nyad and hockey player Sean Avery. But with those two now out of contention there may not be enough fan support to overcome his low marks.

The 76-year-old actor is also expected to receive the lowest scores for the third week in a row, but if he’s eliminated that will be a moot point.

Meanwhile, the top of the leaderboard is expected to look much the same, with Meryl Davis getting 10/11 odds to score the highest marks, followed by Charlie White (19/10), Danica McKellar (7/1), Amy Purdy (10/1), and last week’s standout Maslow (16/1).

Davis is also still the favorite to win the season with 5/6 odds.
