This season has been plagued with injury, starting with Billy Dee Williams, who was forced to withdraw after two weeks due to back problems. Then came news last week that Danica McKellar fractured a rib during training, inhibiting her movement on “Latin Night” and affecting her scores.

Soon after, Purdy was forced to exit due to her injury, leaving her unable to perform her group dance with teammates Meryl Davis, Candace Cameron Bure, and McKellar; as a result, the judges scored the team on their dress rehearsal instead.

Both Purdy and McKellar were voted through to the next week of dances, but it’s unclear whether their injuries will affect their future performances, or force them out of the competition altogether.
