‘Dancing with the Stars’ poll: Was partner switch-up a success or failure?

The stars and pro dancers might have a bone to pick with “Dancing With the Stars” producers about this week’s switch-up, where for the first time in the show’s history the contestants switched partners for one week in the middle of the season. If the judges’ scores were any indication, the new pairings were an uneasy adjustment.

Meryl Davis scored even with last week’s near-perfect 39 out of 40, and Drew Carey and NeNe Leakes actually improved, but the other six scored lower week-to-week.

Taking the biggest hit were Candace Cameron Bure, Danica McKellar, and Cody Simpson, all down four points from their previous performances.

And Charlie White lost three points amidst criticisms that his rumba lacked traditional choreography.

What did you think of the switch-up? Was it a success or a failure? Should they repeat it next season?
