Join our live Emmy chat with David Walton (‘About a Boy’) this Monday

David Walton plays successful songwriter and bachelor Will Freeman on NBC’s single camera sitcom “About a Boy.” What goes into the fun on screen and behind-the-scenes for Walton playing a carefree playboy? We will ask him about this and his new series when he joins us for a live chat this Monday, June 9, at 1:30 p.m. PT; 4:30 p.m. ET on Gold Derby’s home page.

The show is centered on Walton’s character, whose perfect world is turned upside down when single mom Fiona (Oscar and Emmy nominee Minnie Driver) and her 11-year-old son Marcus (Benjamin Stockham) move in next door. It is based on the 1998 Nick Hornby book and the 2002 film starring Hugh Grant. The rookie program is created by Emmy winner Jason Katims (“Friday Night Lights,” “Parenthood”).
