Can ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars?
rstang00: This should take Animated Film without question and be a top 10 Best Picure contender. I have seen nothing better so far this year.
NickSpake: As much as I love this film, I really don’t see it getting into Best Picture for two reasons. 1. As of now, it’s not even guaranteed to win Best Animated Feature given The Lego Movie and possibly Big Hero Little 6. 2. It’s hard to imagine How to Train Your Dragon 2 getting a Best Picture nomination when Frozen couldn’t.
Atypical: Excellent sequel! This is BP worthy. As of now, I think it perfectly deserves the talk and the consideration for BP.
Beau S.: Liked this one a lot. I loved tha animation, the music and the superb voice work from Cate BlanchetHowever, it wasn’t as good as the first one which for me was a perfect film (such a shame it had to go up against Toy Story 3). I also preferred The Lego Movie to this and still think that one is the one to beat for Animated Film. Won’t be nominated for BP. A-
Why have the ‘Mad Men’ actors never won Emmys?
msnowden1: “I know right! [Jon Hamm] has had the best episode in the entire category three times (2010, 2011 and 2013), and he’s been passed over each time. I think Moss losing has been her own fault, though, because she keeps submitting in Lead. If she submitted in Supporting like she should, she won have an Emmy by now.”
adamunc: “The one I can’t understand is why Christina Hendricks didn’t win for “Guy Walks Into an Advertising Agency”. I love Archie Panjabi and all, but her submission that year was nothing special and I found Christina’s work by far the most memorable and worthy in the category that year.”
Charles84: “Januray Jones was sooo robbed of a nomination for season 1 and 2: she could have been a contender in those years.

Video of the Year
Pharrell Williams- Happy
Iggy Azalea ft. Charli XCX- Fancy
Katy Perry- Roar
Eminem ft. Rihanna- The Monster
Jack White- Lazaretto
Love Locs: My picks as of now:
Video of the Year
Beyoncé [feat. Jay-Z] – Drunk in Love
Miley Cyrus – Wrecking Ball
Eminem [feat. Rihanna] – The Monster
Katy Perry – Roar
Pharrell Williams – Happy
Final2: Anyone that dont think Wreaking Ball is getting in VotY is crazy shits Iconic.
RichardAniston: I wonder why they got rid of the Best R&B Video category. Any one of Beyonce’s vids from “Beyonce” could have won in that category.
Outsider: Sam Smith is getting so much hype. He could show up in Male Video, even though his videos have been nothing special. I think John Legend is a strong contender in the category for “All of Me”. The video could also get a cinematography nomination.
Andrewsg770: I think the Rock category will look like this:
Arcade Fire, “We Exist” (LONG shot…)
Fall Out Boy (featuring Elton John), “Save Rock and Roll”
Imagine Dragons, “On Top of the World” (I’m not sure “Demons” is eligible)
Thirty Seconds to Mars, “City of Angels”
Doris Roberts’ Emmy Wins – I Demand An Explanation!
Vincelette: “I always felt like giving someone multiple Emmys for the same role is stupid as hell.”
Gabriel: “Because the Emmys love rubberstamping old people – no explanation needed.”
