The Golden Globe nominations for TV shows and performers are often difficult to pin down, given voters’ penchant for embracing new shows and quickly dismissing old ones (all of last year’s comedy winners were shown the door this time around). As a result, there were a number of surprises, and some of the contenders we were expecting to be nominated were snubbed.
