Join our live Emmy chat with Jessica Pare (‘Mad Men’) this Tuesday

At the end of this shortened spring season of “Mad Men,” Megan Draper (Jessica Pare) is entrenched in California while her husband Don Draper (Jon Hamm) is firmly in New York. Where do things stand between the couple halfway through this seventh and final season? We will ask her about that when she joins us for a live chat this Tuesday, June 17, at 9:00 a.m. PT; 1:00 p.m. ET on Gold Derby’s home page.

The past few episodes had Megan pursuing her acting career in Los Angeles. Don would make occasional trips to see her, but their marriage seems to be adrift since he is more devoted to returning to his former ad agency. The last moment the audience sees her might be a goodbye to him forever on the telephone.

Pare joined the AMC drama series as a recurring character in the fourth season. She started out as a secretary, then moved into a job as junior copy writer, and quickly became Don’s much younger wife. Born Megan Calvet, she is originally from Montreal and speaks fluent French.
