Join our live Emmy chat with Minnie Driver (‘About a Boy’ and ‘Return to Zero’) this Thursday

What was it about “About a Boy,” the TV adaptation of the Nick Hornby novel and Oscar-nominated film that brought Oscar and Emmy nominee Minnie Driver back to television? We’ll be asking her about her zany character Fiona on the NBC comedy series as well as her role on the Lifetime TV movie “Return to Zero” when she joins our live chat Thursday, May 1, at 2:30 p.m. PT/ 5:30 p.m. ET on Gold Derby’s home page.

About a Boy,” like the book and film that precedes it, follows an immature musician (David Walton) living next to a single offbeat mom (Driver) and her quirky son (Benjamin Stockham).

And “Return to Zero” is a complete change of pace, in which Driver plays an expecting mother in this Lifetime movie based on a true story in which her character eagerly awaits the arrival of her first child, but who has to overcome devasting news.
