Also scoring perfect scores were two of our Editors, Daniel Montgomery and Rob Licuria. I was tied for second place at 80% (missing one category) with David Schnelwar and Marcus Dixon. Matt Noble was in the final spot with 60%.

Our overall best Experts were Anne Thompson (Thompson on Hollywood) and Peter Travers (Rolling Stone) with perfect scores of their own. Click here for a full Experts report.

While almost everyone expected the wins by Cate Blanchett (“Blue Jasmine“) and Jared Leto (“Dallas Buyers Club“), the ones that tripped up some people were the victories by “American Hustle” as Best Film Ensemble, Lupita Nyong’o (“12 Years a Slave“), and even Leto’s co-star Matthew McConaughey.

Compared with all predictions, the Gold Derby editors were best at 83%. The website Users were next at 74% and then the Experts at 73%.
