Christina Grimmie will win ‘The Voice’ by a very slim margin

It’s down to the final three on NBC’s “The Voice,” and our own voters believe that Christina Grimmie will be the ultimate champion. She will face off against Josh Kaufman and Jake Worthington with viewers determining the winner.

The live championship round will feature the trio of finalists performing on Monday, May 19.

According to exclusive Gold Derby odds, Adam Levine team member Grimmie is in first place with 27/20 odds to triumph. It is a very slim lead over Kaufman, a Team Usher artist with 19/10 odds who was stolen earlier in this season from Levine.

Country crooner Worthington for Blake Shelton‘s team is in the third spot with 10/3 odds.

For these past six seasons, Levine was the top coach for the first and fifth cycles. Shelton won in the second, third, and fourth seasons. Usher has never prevailed before, and neither has Shakira, who has no contenders left this time.

Let’s take a look back at the song selections from the live rounds for each of the finalists.

Christina Grimmie (27/20) – She first started her career on YouTube and now has more than 2 million subscribers. Her YouTube popularity landed her an opening spot on the Selena Gomez tour, but she has yet to land a record deal. She has performed “Dark Horse” (April 21), “Hold On, We’re Going Home” (April 28), “How to Love” (May 5), “Some Nights” (May 12), “Hide and Seek” (May 12), and “Apologize” (May 13 instant save).

Josh Kaufman (19/10) – A four-chair turnaround artist originally on Team Adam, he was stolen in the second round of battles. He has been singing on-and-off his entire life. He supports his wife and three kids by playing local gigs and working as an SAT prep tutor. He has performed “Stay With Me” (April 21), “This is It” (April 28), “I Can’t Make You Love Me” (May 5), “All of Me” (May 12), and “Love Runs Out” (May 12).

Jake Worthington (10/3) – He is a true country kid who loves fishing, mudding and four-wheeling in his free time. He broke his back playing football and had to take it easy for a few months, which allowed him to discover his true passion: music. He has performed “Anymore” (April 21), “Run” (April 28), “Hillbilly Deluxe” (May 5), “Good Ol’ Boys” (May 12), and “Heaven” (May 12).
