Is Adam Levine artist Christina Grimmie unbeatable to win ‘The Voice’?

Christina Grimmie takes the lead once again to win “The Voice” this season. She led our poll two weeks ago, but be careful what you ask for. Our other recent frontrunners Sisaundra Lewis and Audra McLaughlin were both kicked off the show last week.

Live shows continue on Monday with the final five contestants performing. The home audience will move their favorites forward to the championship round next week.

According to exclusive Gold Derby odds, Adam Levine team member Grimmie is in first place with 6/5 odds to win this sixth season of the NBC reality program. Levine is the defending coaching champ from last year and also the first season.

Josh Kaufman is in second place with 7/1 odds. He is the final contestant remaining for Usher.

Coach Blake Shelton won the second, third, and fourth seasons but also only has one final shot this time. Jake Worthington is in the third spot with 10/1 odds.

Kat Perkins has faced elimination the past two weeks but has survived. She is in fourth place with 18/1 odds and is the other Team Adam member.

Coach Shakira faces the longest odds with Kristen Merlin in fifth place at 25/1.

Let’s take a look at each of the contenders still trying to win “The Voice” during this sixth season.

Christina Grimmie (6/5) – Christina first started her career on YouTube and now has more than 2 million subscribers. Her YouTube popularity landed her an opening spot on the Selena Gomez tour, but she has yet to land a record deal. Team Adam

Josh Kaufman (7/1) – A four-chair turnaround artist originally on Team Adam, Josh was stolen in the second round of battles. He has been singing on-and-off his entire life. He supports his wife and three kids by playing local gigs and working as an SAT prep tutor. Team Usher

Jake Worthington (10/1) – Jake is a true country kid who loves fishing, mudding and four-wheeling in his free time. He broke his back playing football and had to take it easy for a few months, which allowed him to discover his true passion: music. Team Blake

Kat Perkins (18/1) – Kat started a rock band with her husband; but they divorced six months later, and she decided to take a break from the music business. She’s currently a full-time nanny for a family of five, with whom she created an unofficial band for fun. Team Adam

Kristen Merlin (25/1) – Kristen has always faced ridicule for her tomboy appearance. She loves music and wants to use her passion and the national platform of The Voice to represent others who may be judged by how they look and not for who they are. Team Shakira
