We were exactly right: Dani Moz, T.J. Wilkins eliminated from ‘The Voice’

Our exclusive Gold Derby odds were right on the money: Dani Moz and T.J. Wilkins were eliminated from “The Voice” on Tuesday. This week offered live performances from the final 12 contestants on Monday, and fans could vote since then to choose the 10 who would advance.

See our chart at the right, which compiles our Users predictions each week for the reigning Emmy winner for Best Reality-Competition Program. It had Moz with 17/10 odds and Wilkins with 2/1 odds to go home early.

The show added a new feature to conclude the live results episode. Even though fans had been voting for almost 24 hours, they could use Twitter for an “instant save” on their favorite of the three bottom contenders. Tess Boyer was ultimately the winner of that process and continues on to the next live round on Monday. That means coaches Shakira and Usher have each lost one of their team members.

Those three artists performed near the end of the episode to woo the home voters. Wilkins sang “I’ll Be” (Edwin McCain). Moz chose “Turning Tables” (Adele). Boyer selected “Dark Side” (Kelly Clarkson).

The remainder of the program had performances from some of the other contestants as well as three of the coaches. Adam Levine and his team sang “Sledgehammer” (Peter Gabriel). Shakira promoted her latest single “Empire.” Blake Shelton and his three contenders performed “Put Some Drive in Your Country” (Travis Tritt).

Blake Shelton artist Sisaundra Lewis predicted to win ‘The Voice

The top 10 now consists of all three Team Blake members (Sisaundra Lewis, Audra McLaughlin, Jake Worthington), all of Team Adam (Delvin Choice, Christina Grimmie, Kat Perkins), two members of Team Shakira (Boyer, Kristen Merlin), and two members of Team Usher (Josh Kaufman, Bria Kelly).
