Our predictions for the winners in all 26 Tony Awards races are based upon a combination of four sets of forecasts at Gold Derby: ExpertsEditors, our Top 24 Users who had the highest scores last year, and All Users.

The rock revival “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” will be the top Tony winner according to these combined predictions. It’s forecast to win five of its nominations: Best Musical Revival, Musical Actor (Neil Patrick Harris), Musical Featured Actress (Lena Hall), Musical Lighting Design, and Musical Sound Design. Not far behind with four wins will be “Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder,” this year’s top Tony nominee with 10 bids. We predict it to take home Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Direction of a Musical, and Musical Costume Design. “Beautiful,” about the life and career of singer-songwriter Carole King, will win Best Musical Actress for its star, Jessie Mueller, while James Monroe Iglehart gets best odds to take Musical Featured Actor for “Aladdin,” the only expected win for the Disney musical.

Voters will spread the wealth in the play categories according to our racetrack odds, with “The Glass Menagerie” leading the way with a trio of wins: Best Play Revival, Play Featured Actress (Celia Keenan-Bolger), and Play Lighting Design. The Shakespeare revival “Twelfth Night” will match that total, taking Best Play Featured Actor (Mark Rylance), Direction of a Play, and Play Costume Design. “All the Way” will win both of its nominations: Best Play and Best Play Actor (Bryan Cranston). Also expected to win both of its bids is “Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill“: Best Play Actress (Audra McDonald, who would set a new Tonys record with six career acting wins) and Play Sound Design.
