Bird’s eye view of Critics’ Choice TV Awards reveals shallowness of Hollywood

Next season, Dunn will be continuing in his role as Chief of Staff in the fictional HBO White House as new President Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) comes on board. Regarding the twist, Dunn told us, “The last two [episodes] really kicked it into high gear. It was so unexpected, because it’s ‘Veep’ and all of a sudden, she’s not the Veep.” And what does he make of his character’s perpetual grumpiness? “He hates his life. But it’s all that he knows. He couldn’t do anything else, except maybe drink and then he would die soon.”

Bradshaw expressed her shock to reading the finale, admitting, “No one really knows what the scripts are gonna be because the writers are just stuck in a lab. I credit them so much, they’re so amazing. We get surprised when you guys get surprised because we don’t exactly know what’s gonna happen.”
