Let’s take a look at Gold Derby’s combined odds of the Final 5 to see who, if anyone, has enough support from our users to upset Clark.

1. Clark Beckham
Odds to win: 4/5
Clark has been the clear favorite since the beginning of the live rounds, and with a lack of a serious challenger he should easily win America’s vote in the finals. He fits the stereotypical “Idol” winner mold to a tee — good-looking, white, plays an instrument — just like six of the past seven champs. (See our photo gallery of past winners below.)

2. Jax
Odds to win: 10/3
By far the hippest and most inventive singer, I’ve been predicting Jax to win ever since Top 10 Week. She reminds me a bit like last season’s cool cat Jena Irene, who made it all the way to the Final 2 but lost out to rocker Caleb Johnson. Can Jax do what Jena couldn’t?

3. Nick Fradiani
Odds to win: 15/2
This guy’s been slowly creeping up Gold Derby’s winner chart over the past few weeks and finally kicked Tyanna out of the #3 slot after back-to-back episodes of impressive performances. Like Clark, Nick feels like the classic “Idol” winner. But unlike Clark, he rarely gives a performance you still remember a week later.

4. Tyanna Jones
Odds to win: 20/1
What happened? Tyanna was many people’s pick to win the show early on in the competition, but now she’s a distant fourth. Is it her nerves? Her youth? Her uninterested gaze? Whatever the case, Tyanna needs to bring back pre-live-shows Tyanna if she wants to make it past Top 4 Week.

5. Rayvon Owen
Odds to win: 100/1
No one — not even Rayvon himself — thinks he’ll actually be this season’s champ. In truth, no singer has ever won after being saved and Rayvon’s been saved a whopping four times already. The fact that he made it to the Final 5 and the country-wide tour is victory enough.

‘American Idol’ bombshell: Our contest champ ditches Clark Beckham, predicts Jax to win

Where do you fall on our overall Season 14 leaderboard?

For the entire season so far, JB is still in first place with 63% prediction accuracy. As for his current predictions, JB tells us, “Clark is still far and away the frontrunner. He has it in the bag. At this point, it still feels like it’s going to be a Clark vs. Jax finale. Now, the race is for third and anyone could get there. I’d say Nick rose to third place for the first time after last week (not sure he can stay there).”

Next up on our leaderboard is Phoenix in second place with 58% accuracy, and then there’s a tie for third place with both Benutty and Denton at 54%. Click here to see where you score on our overall season leaderboard.

Can YOU beat these frontrunners to win our prizes? Then be sure to take part in our “American Idol” prediction contest. We’re giving away $100 Amazon gift certificates to our weekly winners plus at season’s end. The deadline for each episode is Wednesday at 5 p.m. PT.

Our current overall leader JB correctly predicted Quentin’s ouster this week and Qaasim Middleton‘s exit in Top 8 Week. However, he missed calling Joey Cook‘s elimination last week (see complete predix), proving that it’s possible to do well in our contests without getting everything right.

Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.

To vote for who think will go home next on “American Idol,” drag contestants over from the left to the right and arrange them in your predicted order. For example, if you think Nick will be eliminated, make sure you put him in first place.
