Who will win ‘America’s Got Talent’? See exclusive predictions

According to exclusive Gold Derby odds that are derived from the predictions made by users like you, Freckled Sky was in first place for which of this week’s 12 acts would advance to the next round. They had leading 6/5 odds to advance, with 45% of our users predicting a successful run for the dance act. That makes their elimination one of the most shocking in the history of “AGT.”

The other four acts to get kicked to the curb Wednesday night were stand up comedian Myq Kaplan, dance troupe DM Nation, flyboarder Damone Rippy and animated dance group Animation Crew.

Congratulations to our user Jean Ieong for earning the top score in this week’s contest. He tied with two other users at near-perfect 91% prediction accuracy, though he broke the tie with his high 51,244 point score by using his special 500 and 200 bets wisely. If eligible, as per our contest rules, he will win a $100 Amazon gift certificate.

This user correctly predicted six of the seven acts that would go through: Sharon Irving, Arielle Baril, Uzeyer Novruzov, 3 Shades of Blue, The CraigLewis Band and Derek Hughes. Jean also predicted that Howard Stern would hit his X and that Howie Mandel, Mel B and Heidi Klum would not hit their X’s. The only thing he got wrong was to predict that Freckled Sky would advance to the next round instead of puppet act Ira.

Twelve new acts will perform next week on “AGT.” You can already start predicting which seven will advance from this new group, which consists of: Alicia Michilli, Benjamin Yonattan, Chapkis Dance Family, DADitude, Daniella Mass, Freelusion Dance Company, Gary Vider, Metal Mulisha Fitz’s Army, Mountain Faith Band, The Professional Regurgitator and Selected of God Choir.

In our “America’s Got Talent” predictions center, you get to answer the following questions each week:

Which 7 acts will advance to next round?

Will Howard Stern hit his X?

Will Heidi Klum hit her X?

Will Mel B hit her X?

Will Howie Mandel hit his X?

Who will win ‘America’s Got Talent’?

Every week, the eligible user with the highest prediction accuracy and most points will win a $100 Amazon gift certificate, so it’s beneficial to keep coming back often and making/updating your predictions. The “AGT” performance shows air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC, while the results shows are scheduled for Wednesdays at 8 p.m.

To vote for who you think will advance to the next round, drag your chosen contestants over from the left to the right and arrange them in your predicted order.

Every time someone logs their predictions, the racetrack odds of the contestants are automatically updated. If the majority of users think The Professional Regurgitator will go through, that means he’ll have the best odds and will go to the front of the pack. Conversely, the contestants who don’t receive many predictions have the worst odds and will go to the bottom of the pile.

Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.
