Need help sorting through all of the acts still in contention to win “America’s Got Talent” Season 10? We sat down with Gold Derby user (and “AGT” superfan) Tyler The Awesome Guy to get his take on the first group of 12 acts that will perform live from Radio City Music Hall on NBC Tuesday night. After reading his snap judgments below, make your own predictions and you could win our prize of a $100 Amazon gift certificate. It’s fun and easy, so start now by scrolling down and predicting which seven acts will advance to the next round.
Here is Tyler’s analysis of this week’s 12 live acts:
Benton Blount has a really strong voice, but it will all depend on his song choice.
Drew Lynch has great material, but his stuttering could get in the way of his delivery.
Piff the Magic Dragon is a wonderfully weird performer who shouldn’t have any problems being amongst the Top 7 going through.
Triple Threat could come across as a poor man’s Forte unless they really deliver Tuesday night.
The Gentlemen, while being cute, don’t have any business being here amongst much more talented acts.
Ventriloquist Paul Zerdin has smart delivery and timing so he should do great this round.
Siro-A is easily the act most deserving of their own Vegas show and the most in contention to win the entire thing.
Alondra Santos has a really strong voice and should easy votes, but the clash of cultures could stand in her way.
Vita Radionova‘s contortions are played to be sexy, so if she keeps that up, she will get a lot of the male viewers voting off the hook.
If Showproject has a really strong performance (no pun intended) this week, then they could be easily in contention, but it could also be boring and trite.
Not a lot is known about Craig and Micheline outside of a brief audition montage, so your guess is as good as mine as to how consistent these guys are.
Samantha Johnson is talented, but I feel that with Benton also competing, vote-splitting could occur where the audience has to pick either Samantha or Benton, but not both.
The seven acts Tyler predicts will advance to the next round are Benton Blount, Piff the Magic Dragon, Paul Zerdin, Siro-A, Vita Radionova, Samantha Johnson and Drew Lynch. See all of Tyler’s “AGT” predictions right here.
According to exclusive Gold Derby odds that are derived from the predictions made by users like you, Piff the Magic Dragon and Paul Zerdin are both tied at leading 11/2 odds for who will win Season 10.

Click on any box and then scroll down to start making your predictions. For each TV show, cast your votes on several different questions relating to the upcoming episode.
If you click on the “America’s Got Talent” button, you’ll see something like this:
To vote for who you think will advance to the next round, drag your chosen contestants over from the left to the right and arrange them in your predicted order.
Every time someone logs their predictions, the racetrack odds of the contestants are automatically updated. If the majority of users think Siro-A will go through, that means they’ll have the best odds and will go to the front of the pack. Conversely, the contestants who don’t receive many predictions have the worst odds and will go to the bottom of the pile.
Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.
Average Gold Derby users just like YOU often turn out to be our smartest prognosticators, so it’s important that you give us your predictions. You can continue to update and change your predictions throughout the week, just click “Save Predictions” when you’ve settled on your choice.
