According to exclusive Gold Derby odds that are derived from predictions made by users like you, Meg was the overwhelming pick to be eliminated first with leading odds of 8/11, or 58% of our users’ votes. Conversely, her block-mate Julia Nolan had 4/1 odds, or a 20% chance of being evicted.
After Meg’s eviction, host Julie Chen informed the houseguests that they were in the midst of another double eviction episode. By the end of the hour, Meg’s “friend-zone” partner James was also sent packing. Our users were less confident about that outcome, as James only had 10/1 odds (9% chance) of being the second evictee.
Congratulations to our user Poseidon4 for earning the top score in this week’s contest. He’s one of three users to reap perfect 100% accuracy predicting all of the questions for Week 10, though he broke the tie with his high 51,177 point score thanks to using his special 500 and 200 point bets wisely. If eligible, as per our contest rules, he will win a $100 Amazon gift certificate.
This user’s winning predictions were that Vanessa Rousso would win HOH, that she would nominate Meg and James for eviction, that James would win the Veto, that the Veto would be used, that Meg would be evicted first and that James would end up being the second evictee on double eviction night.

To vote for who you think will be eliminated next, drag your chosen contestant over from the left to the right. Every time someone logs their predictions, the racetrack odds of the contestants are automatically updated.
If the majority of users think Vanessa will go home, that means she’ll have the best odds and will go to the front of the pack. Conversely, the contestants who don’t receive many predictions have the worst odds and will go to the bottom of the pile.
Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.
Average Gold Derby users just like YOU often turn out to be our smartest prognosticators, so it’s important that you give us your predictions. You can continue to update and change your predictions throughout the week, just click “Save Predictions” when you’ve settled on your choice.
