David Lynch is officially back on board for the “Twin Peaks” revival at Showtime. After sorting out money concerns (salary and production), Lynch tweeted on Friday: “Dear Twitter Friends, the rumors are not what they seem… It is!!! Happening again. #Twin Peaks returns on @SHO_Network.” He and co-creator Mark Frost have already written all of the episodes, which Lynch will direct. Several cast members, including star Kyle MacLachlan, will be returning 25 years after the final episode aired on ABC. Huffington Post

The Television Academy hosts a panel discussion Sunday to celebrate the series finale of “Mad Men.” In addition to many members of the production team and creator Matthew Weiner, cast members taking part include Jon Hamm, January Jones, Vincent Kartheiser, Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Jessica Pare, and Kiernan Shipka. Even though Fox no longer wants “The Mindy Project,” online streamer Hulu does. Produced by NBC Universal, the Mindy Kaling and Chris Messina comedy series will produce 26 new episodes for Hulu. This follows last year’s similar deal between “Community” and Yahoo. Entertainment Weekly
