The Creative Arts Emmys begin at 4 pm PT/7 pm ET on Saturday, Sept. 12 and Gold Derby will be bringing you the results live on our home page. The awards will be handed out at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles, which is also home to the primetime awards next Sunday (Sept. 20). Only a small portion of the 102 Emmy Awards categories can be presented on that kudocast, leaving the vast majority to be handed out at this free-wheeling ceremony. An edited two and a half-hour version of the Creative Arts show will air on FXX on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 8pm ET/PT, with an encore at 10:30 pm ET/PT.
Among the awards to be handed out at the Creative Arts are the four guest acting categories, Best TV Movie, the first-ever award for Best Variety Sketch Series, Best Variety Special, Best Reality Host and Best Special Class Program.
