Daytime Emmys predictions: Bryan Craig (‘GH’) is overwhelming favorite for Younger Actor

Last year, Bryan Craig earned his first Best Younger Actor nomination at the Daytime Emmys for playing Morgan Corinthos on “General Hospital,” a role he’s played since 2013. But like many other young men in recent years, the 23-year-old lost to Chandler Massey (“Days of Our Lives“), who won the award three years in a row (2012-2014). But Craig will rise to the top this year according to our Top 24 Users, who were the highest scorers predicting last year’s nominations.

Daytime Emmys predictions: Anthony Geary (‘GH’) will win eighth Best Actor title

Massey left “Days” at the beginning of 2014, and his absence means this is the only acting category this year guaranteed to crown a first-time winner. A whopping 18 of our Top 24 think it will be Craig. He leads their predictions with 17/10 odds.

Craig’s biggest threat appears to be Max Ehrich (“The Young and the Restless“), who has been nominated for the last two years. Three top users predict he’ll be the one to inherit the Younger Actor throne, giving him 7/2 odds.

Two top users are backing Freddie Smith, who played Massey’s love interest on “Days.” Smith was nominated in 2013, but was snubbed last year. He ranks third with 9/2 odds.

The rest of our users agree with the rankings of our Top 24, picking Craig to win, followed by Ehrich, Smith, Tequan Richmond (“GH”), Casey Moss (“Days”), and Connor Kalopsis (“Days”).

Are our users on the right track?
