For this year’s DGA Awards, voters chose to take their own path away from frontrunners in film and television. Unfortunately, that made it a very difficult year for prediction scores. Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (“Birdman“) upset Richard Linklater (“Boyhood“) as Best Film Director. TV winners included “Transparent” (comedy), “Homeland” (drama), “Olive Kitteridge” (movie/miniseries),and “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” (variety).

For the other 11 Experts we polled, the next best are Mike Cidoni (Associated Press) and Susan Wloszczyna (

Following at 20% accuracy rate are Edward Douglas (Coming Soon), Kevin Polowy (Yahoo), Claudia Puig (USA Today), Paul Sheehan (Gold Derby), Sasha Stone (Awards Daily), and Peter Travers (Rolling Stone). Predicting none correct are Thelma Adams (, Tariq Khan (Fox News), and Tom O’Neil (Gold Derby).
