Emmy outrages! Top 20 bitchiest comments from our forums: Yay Tatiana! Boo ‘Affair’ snub!

Our forum posters are going nuts over this year’s batch of Emmy nominations. Here’s a look at some of their reactions to the expected, unexpected and just plain baffling of what was announced this morning. (See the complete list of Emmy nominees here.)

Game of Thrones’ reigns over Emmy noms, ‘Mad Men’ rebounds, ‘Empire’ snubbed

Halo_Insider: Will Forte; “Parks and Recreation“; “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt“!!!! COMEDY JUST GOT AWESOME ALL OF A SUDDEN.

Eli Edwards: Sigh. Eight nominations for Best Comedy Supporting Actress and still no Eden Sher.

Dj_onathan: Snub Parsons and continue nominating Cheadle? Come on!

GustavoCruzESilva: This is looking VERY strong for “Veep” – Series, Actress, Supp Actor, Supp Actress, Writing, Directing. “Modern Family,” not so much!

24Emmy: Time to predict “Veep.” It had an awesome season and is deserving. Or “Silicon Valley.” Anything but “Transparent” please.

Daniel B.: Arrggghhh!!! I just removed Keegan-Michael Key from my predictions last night and replaced him with Hugh Laurie. Oh well, I am happy for Key. A well-deserved nomination for a very talented individual.

Atypical: 8 nominees in Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series? Good gawd. Yay for Gaby Hoffmann, Jane Krakowski, Allison Janney, and NIECY NASH!

BenitoDelicias: Forgot about Schumer and Kudrow. Amazing. It will be a real shitty moment if/when Julia Louis-Dreyfus wins a fourth straight Emmy with those two other ladies also nominated.

Marcus Snowden: Personally, I didn’t buy all of the “Jane the Virgin” hype, and I was right not to. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great show, but it being on CW was the Kiss of Death as far as its Emmy chances were concerned.

TV shows (‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Freak Show,’) and networks (HBO) with most nominations

Josh Labron: There’s always stuff I’m sad and happy about, BUT I DON’T CARE ABOUT THE SNUBS RIGHT NOW (Julianna MarguliesEllie Kemper), THEY NOMINATED TATIANA MASLANY, I LITERALLY SCREAMED OUT LOUD!!!

Zooey the Dreamer: “Game of Thrones” is up for directing (twice! and it rarely happens!), writing, supporting actress (twice!!!) and supporting actor. It’s soooo winning drama series.

Stretchy: I knew it! “Empire” wasn’t getting shit! I didn’t have it in my predix.

Marcus Snowden: If Chandler beats Hamm again, I’m gonna burn my house down.

Cobalt Blue: With “Homeland” getting back into series, it’s shocking to me that Mandy Patinkin didn’t get nominated.  He had his meatiest arc to date, two tremendous episodes to submit, how does that happen?

Gabriel: I’m literally cringing with embarrassment that Margo Martindale got rubberstamped over Lois Smith. Oooof. Insane.

jacob121: Lots to be happy about here, but the complete snub of “The Affair” stings … Fiona Apple got snubbed for [writing the theme music]. Boo!

2015 Emmy Awards: Complete list of nominations

harposboy: “Grace of Monaco” for TV Movie? Oh dear…

Blacktie: I’m estatic that respected actors Regina King, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Khandi Alexander are now Emmy-nominated actors.

OnTheAisle: For me, the most painful snub is the failure to recognize Nathan Lane as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for “The Nance.” I thought Lane’s work was the single finest performance on television this past season. I was hopeful it would be nominated to bring this exceptional performance to a larger audience.

NateDoggg: I am surprised that the History programs didn’t do better. very surprised that O’Hare and Wittrock made it in [for “American Horror Story Freak Show“] when Chiklis didn’t, and just downright shocked that “Grace Of Monaco” was nominated as Outstanding Television Movie. I think’s time for a viability test down to be introduced if quality isn’t there, despite the number of submissions.
