Evan Peters (‘AHS: Freak Show’) gets beaten up by Michael Chiklis on red carpet (Exclusive Video)

What starts out as a harmless red carpet interview with Evan Peters at the Dolby Theatre’s Paley Festival turns hysterically violent when Michael Chiklis, his TV daddy on “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” pushes him out of the way. “Look how much stronger he is,” laughs Peters. “He almost knocked me over!”

“Hey, we gotta start playing hockey,” interrupts strongman Chiklis, to which an excited Peters happily responds, “Yeah, we are? I got that on camera!” Watch the entire interview below.

Evan Peters: Playing a sex-crazed monster in ‘AHS’ left me speechless

According to Gold Derby’s combined predictions, Peters currently has 33/1 odds to win Best Movie/Mini Actor at the Emmys. However, the announcement was just made a few weeks ago about his elevation from supporting to lead for “AHS: Freak Show,” so his derby chances will likely increase as more of our predictors come to realize his new category placement.

Regarding the category promotion, Peters announces, “I really don’t feel any more pressure. I’m just excited to even be campaigning. It’s kind of cool.”

Peters also talks about the difficulties of working with those infamous prosthetic claw hands. “I don’t think you realize how much you use your hands throughout the day. It’s really difficult. And also, the paint comes off whenever you touch anything. So you have to just constantly have people cut your chicken or zip your pants or whatever. It’s insane.”
