While the Golden Globe nominations for TV went mostly as we predicted, there were a number of strong contenders left out in the cold, including defending champs Kevin Spacey (“House of Cards“) and Ruth Wilson (“The Affair“). Also absent was “Outlander” fan favorite Sam Heughan, even though the show received three nominations. And though “Game of Thrones” earned a nom for Best Drama Series, its supporting actors were snubbed, including Lena Headey and recent Emmy champ Peter Dinklage.
