Congratulations to our User RSHouston for a terrific 71% prediction rate for Sunday’s Grammy Awards winners. He defeated all others in predictions this year and also wisely used his 500 and 200 point bets for a great overall score of 8,194.

While Sam Smith swept through several of his categories (record, song, new artist), there were some upsets throughout the ceremony. Our own predictions winner correctly predicted Pharrell Williams (pop solo), St. Vincent (alternative), and Kendrick Lamar (rap) among the more difficult picks in getting 17 out of 24 categories right.

Among our six Experts who participated, Gold Derby’s very own Tom O’Neil beat them all with a 63% score. Just behind are Glenn Gamboa (Newsday) and Paul Sheehan (Gold Derby) with 59% correct. Edna Gundersen and Lyndsey Parker (Yahoo) are next with 55% right. Chris Willman follows with a 42% score.

I was crowned as our best Editor with a 67% score. Rob Licuria followed with 63% right, and then Marcus Dixon with 59% and Daniel Montgomery with 50% correct.
