“Justified” fans, did you miss any of our exclusive chats with the cast and crew of FX’s critically acclaimed crime drama? We’ve listed them all below for your viewing pleasure, including our interviews with actors Joelle Carter, Kaitlyn Dever and Jonathan Tucker, and co-creator Graham Yost.
Joelle Carter on what she thought of the “Justified” ending: “I don’t think it could have ended any better. I will always have a little piece of Ava with me, so she’s not gone forever. They ended her like a true Elmore Leonard woman gets to end. For her own story, she gets away with it all.”
Jonathan Tucker on joining the series as one of its final villains: “You want to come in there and do something great and take big risks. You also don’t want to screw up anything. I was a fan of the show before I got the call to come be on it, which was a total trip and a thrill. It’s a show that’s based on extraordinary craftsmanship of story and cast.”
Kaitlyn Dever on delivering a show-stopping speech in front of her co-stars: “When it was time to do the scene in the Pizza Portal with my big speech, Walton Goggins was there, and I was doing the speech in front of him. And, I’ve got [Timothy Olyphant] in the back watching me. And then I’ve got a speech I’m yelling at towards Sam Elliott. And the dialogue, too. I wanted to get it perfect, and so I worked on it for a long time.”
Graham Yost on screening the final episode in Harlan, Kentucky: “That was the first time we saw it with an audience, and that was a lot of fun… to hear them gasp when Raylan got shot and cheer when Ava drove off.”
