Oscar voters get DVD screeners of ‘The Danish Girl,’ ‘Creed,’ ‘The Lady in the Van,’ ‘Spy’ …

Just hours after the announcement of Monday’s Critics’ Choice nominations, Oscar voters received a DVD screener of The Danish Girl,” which reaped bids for lead Eddie Redmayne and supporting player Alicia VikanderAlso included was “Suffragette,” a period drama about British women’s fight for the right to vote starring British Independent Film nominee Carey Mulligan

And in the wake of last week’s announcement of the Golden Globe contenders, Oscar voters have a chance to watch Globe nominees Maggie Smith in “The Lady in the Van” and Melissa McCarthy in “Spy.” And they can take a look at the change-of-pace performance of Critics’ Choice and Globe contender Sylvester Stallone in “Creed.”
