Ashley Nell Tipton
Is there anyone that hasn’t claimed Ashley as the clear frontrunner and personal favorite yet? Her use of texture, color and volume speaks well to Ashley’s taste as a designer, but not to be missed is her personal sense of style which she was able to translate into the styling of her model. The show’s editors have already started the “butterfly arch” for Ashley, so I expect the self-consciousness she displayed in the first episode to steadily involve into a confident, design powerhouse by the end of the season. Gold Derby odds to win: 11/8

Edmond Newton
It took 14 seasons of auditioning for Edmond to finally make the show and I’m convinced it’s going to be a story well worth the wait. Edmond proved in his first look that he designs for the young, sexy and nightlife-oriented woman. We’ve seen a lot of designers with a similar aesthetic come and go, but have yet to see one take the top prize. In Edmond, I think we finally have our trap queen champion. Gold Derby odds to win: 13/2

Hanmiao Yang
I don’t care what any of the haters say, Hanmiao’s boxy, oversized, mustard dress-vest look was gorgeous. I absolutely loved it. I know a million girls (and gays) in Brooklyn that would kill to look like a fashiony Buddhist monk at the next party. I’m always the biggest fan of the designers that think outside the box, but I also really love it when they give us looks that are literal boxes. I’m prepared to single-handedly beat the drum of Hanmiao as far into the season as I can. Gold Derby odds to win: 100/1

If you click on the “Project Runway” button, you’ll see something like this:

To vote for who you think will be out next, drag your chosen designers over from the left to the right and arrange them in your predicted order.

Every time someone logs their predictions, the racetrack odds of the contestants are automatically updated. If the majority of users think Gabrielle will be out, that means she’ll have the best odds and will go to the front of the pack. Conversely, the contestants who don’t receive many predictions have the worst odds and will go to the bottom of the pile.

Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.

Average Gold Derby users just like YOU often turn out to be our smartest prognosticators, so it’s important that you give us your predictions. You can continue to update and change your predictions throughout the week, just click “Save Predictions” when you’ve settled on your choice.
