According to exclusive Gold Derby odds that are derived from the predictions made by contest entrants like you, firefighter Jeremy Collins has overwhelming 4/5 odds to win “Survivor: Second Chance.” However, our season-long contest leader Eric Shi (screen name Eric123) disagrees with the consensus. Instead, he’s convinced that second-place contender Spencer Bledsoe, who currently has 10/3 odds, will be the ultimate $1 million champion. Scroll down to see his reasons why.

“As of right now, I am predicting Spencer to win this season,” Shi reveals to Gold Derby. “He’s definitely shown a lot of growth from his last season and is playing a much better social game. He’s also won the most individual immunities out of the people left and he is making good strategic moves, so if he gets to the Final 3 he definitely has a good case for winning.”
But what does Shi think of frontrunner Jeremy’s chances? “I think Jeremy also has a really good shot at winning. He always seems to be safe at Tribal Council and has played a very under-the-radar strategic game. Plus, he still has that second idol left to use.”
After Jeremy and Spencer, Kelley Wentworth is in third place in Gold Derby’s predictions with 5/1 odds to win, followed by Kimmi Kappenberg and Tasha Fox tied at 66/1 odds apiece, and then Keith Nale in dead last with lowly odds of 100/1.
Shi concludes, “Season 31 has been so good. It’s one of the best recent seasons in my opinion. With the whole cast consisting of people who never won, I think it makes more of the contestants play harder, which makes for an entertaining season. I also like rooting for my favorites from past seasons.”
