Season 15: China

“Survivor: China” gave us a handful of great characters — we know Amanda Kimmel, James Clement and Courtney Yates well from their returns to the series in later seasons — but one of the best characters from that season that we haven’t seen again (until now) is Peih-Gee. How Peih-Gee managed to slither her way to fifth place in China is still almost unfathomable, but she did it with perhaps the best scrappy style ever.

Famously throwing challenges to vote out her own tribemates and mercilessly backstabbing her competitors just to inch her way forward, Peih-Gee gave us so many great moments. Her unpredictability is going to make “Second Chance” a truly exciting season. Gold Derby odds to win: 33/1

PROS
Peih-Gee won two individual immunity challenges and one individual reward, proving that she’s as much an “outplay” competitor as she is an “outwit” one.

She is willing to do whatever it takes to get further, as she plays day-by-day and is able to adapt her game with short notice just to get to the next stage.

CONS
Her competitors this time around will be very familiar with the lack of loyalty she showed in China and it’s doubtful they’ll remember it favorably. Mutiny, by way of throwing challenges, is not a chip you willingly bring to the table.

As exciting as it is to watch an unpredictable player, it’s just as dangerous to play against one. Peih-Gee will have to fly under the radar for a bit if she wants to avoid an early elimination because coming out strong will remind everyone just how scrappy she can be.
