“Oh, there’s no two ways about it, I was portrayed as [a villain]. I am not happy about how I was portrayed,” says the latest “Survivor: Worlds Apart” castoff Dan Foley to Gold Derby after being voted off (listen below). “No getting around it, I think ‘Survivor’ did me dirty.” Hurry — make your predictions for next week’s Season 30 finale and you could win our prize of a $100 Amazon gift certificate. It’s fun and easy, so start now by scrolling down and predicting who will win.
Dan holds nothing back about his ouster, telling us, “Any person that plays ‘Survivor’ and walks out of that game with a smile on their face? They weren’t there to play. I exploded in a stream of expletives at the beginning of my exit interview, and I’m a little surprised they didn’t show any of that. I was livid. I didn’t want to see Ponderosa, except from a distance. So, no, I could care less about the whole experience. I was there to play. I was there to win.”
He continues, “I don’t care who you are. I don’t care where you come from or your gender or orientation or anything else. If you push, I push back. And they showed me pushing back. But they didn’t show anybody pushing me. And there was a lot of very, very out of context things that took place that I really got the short end of the stick on.”
Scroll down to listen to our entire exit Q&A with Dan, including whether he thinks that using his two-vote advantage is what prompted Carolyn Rivera to play her hidden Immunity idol, if he’s disappointed about not making the shortlist for “Survivor: Second Chance” and which two former castaways he’d like to see return for Season 31.

Where do you fall on our overall Season 30 leaderboard?
All season long, three users — Smartdude, Benutty, Taloson — have been battling it out for the top spot, and this week Smartdude remained in the #1 position on our leaderboard with his “smart” predictions of Episode 13. He now has leading 70% prediction accuracy while Benutty and Taloson are tied in second place with 67%. Talk about a true nail-biter!
Can YOU beat these frontrunners to win our prizes? Then be sure to take part in our “Survivor” prediction contest. We’re giving away $100 Amazon gift certificates to our weekly winners plus at season’s end. The deadline for the season finale is Wednesday at 5 p.m. PT.
Our current overall leader Smartdude predicted Dan’s elimination this week and Tyler’s last week. However, he missed calling the two prior back-to-back ousters of Jenn and Shirin (see complete predix), proving that it’s possible to do well in our contests without getting everything right.
Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.
