What are the 10 best films of the 21st century? Our forum posters debate

What are the best films of the 21st century so far? Of course there are still 84 years to go, but since the BBC recently polled critics for their choices (their results are yet to be revealed), our forum posters have taken the ball and run with it.

Among the most beloved films by critics, at least based on their MetaCritics scores, have been “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” (2003), “Ratatouille” (2007), “The Hurt Locker” (2009), “12 Years a Slave” (2013), “Gravity” (2013) and “Boyhood” (2014), to name just a few. All of those films also won Oscars, and some show up on our readers’ lists. See some of those lists below and click here to share your own.
