chart-agt-finaleAs you can see on the chart to the right, our readers correctly predicted the victory by 12-year-old singer-songwriter Grace VanderWaal. She had leading 4/5 odds to prevail, ahead of singer Brian Justin Crum in second place with odds of 4/1. However, Crum surprised by actually coming in fourth place in America’s vote. Our readers were right in forecasting that football magician Jon Dorenbos would place third with 9/1 odds, but they were dead wrong in thinking mentalists The Clairvoyants would come in fourth place — this duo was actually America’s runner-ups and within 1% of winning the entire season. ‘America’s Got Talent’ poll: What is Grace VanderWaal’s best original song from Season 11?

As for the rest of the pack, host Nick Cannon announced that crooner Sal Valentinetti came in fifth place, but didn’t say the finishing order of the Bottom 5: Linkin Bridge, Sofie Dossi, Viktor Kee, Laura Bretan and Tape Face.

Are you happy with VanderWaal’s victory as the winner of Season 11, or do you think someone else should have won? Be sure to sound off in the comments section below or in Gold Derby’s reality TV forum.
