[WATCH] ‘Dancing with the Stars’: Laurie Hernandez’s high-scoring ‘DuckTales’ jive

Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez had the highest score for the second week in a row on “Dancing with the Stars.” On “TV Night,” the contestants performed routines inspired by famous TV theme songs, and Hernandez delivered an animated “DuckTales”-themed jive with pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy that scored straight eights from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli, bringing her total to 32. Do you think she deserved those high scores? Watch her performance above and decide for yourself, then make sure to predict who will win the season and be eliminated next.

The “Dancing with the Stars” fans in our message boards were certainly pleased by Hernandez’s performance. Cordell Martin said of her dance, “Amazing partnership. Such a cute routine. She definitely has this win on lock.” Vinny added that the routine was “fun” and that the “choreography was really good.”

Martin may be right about Hernandez winning the Mirror Ball Trophy this season. She has received the top judges’ score both weeks of the competition so far, though she had to share the top of the leaderboard in week one, when she tied with race car driver James Hinchcliffe. And Hernandez has been the frontrunner to win according to our prediction contest entrants since before the season even started, and she remains at the top of our predictions with leading 3/10 odds.
