In the coming week we’ll see a few more debuts, including the legal drama “Conviction” (ABC) sci-fi yarns “Timeless” (NBC) and “Frequency” (CW), but will they measure up to what we’ve already seen? Here’s what the networks have shown us so far:
“Bull” (CBS) — Michael Weatherly stars in this legal drama as the title character, who specializes in juror selection. (MetaCritic score: 40)
“Designated Survivor” (ABC) — Kiefer Sutherland plays the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, who becomes president after the line of succession is wiped out during the State of the Union address. (MetaCritic score: 71)
“Lethal Weapon” (FOX) — Adapted from the buddy-cop action movie series, with Clayne Crawford and Damon Wayans filling in for Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. (MetaCritic score: 56)
“MacGyver” (CBS) — Remade from the 1985 series, it follows a resourceful young man (Lucas Till) and his international missions with the Department of External Services. (MetaCritic score: 38)
“Notorious” (ABC) — Follows the personal and professional lives of an attorney (Daniel Sunjata) and a TV news producer (Piper Perabo). (MetaCritic score: 32)
