It’s clear that fans and critics love the Starz fantasy epic, so why not the Emmys? In its first two seasons, “Outlander” has only been nominated for three technical Emmy noms: Best Music Composition (2015), Best Costumes (2016) and Best Production Design (2016). At the Critics’ Choice Awards, “Outlander” took down other fan faves “Game of Thrones,” “Stranger Things,” “Catastrophe,” “Bates Motel” and “Mr. Robot” to claim the prize as Most Bingeworthy Show for the second year in a row. Series leads Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan were also nominated as Best Drama Actress and Best Drama Actor, but lost out to Evan Rachel Wood (“Westworld”) and Bob Odenkirk (“Better Call Saul”), respectively.
