‘Project Runway’ Season 15 poll results: Erin Robertson voted worst designer in the Top 6

Last week we asked you which of the Top 6 remaining contestants on “Project Runway” Season 15 is the worst designer and you responded decisively — with 42% of the vote, it’s Erin Robertson. In second place is Cornelius Ortiz with 21% and in third place is Mah-Jing Wong with 19%.

Erin’s journey on “Project Runway” has been interesting, to say the least. In the first three challenges she won twice and then scored within the top two, an achievement that led you to predict her as the most likely to win Season 15 consistently until just a few weeks ago. For a four-week stretch between Episodes 6 and 9, Erin was in the bottom three, the most of any of the remaining six designers. With such an inconsistent track record, and specifically one that took such a drastic downward turn, it is easy to understand why she’s viewed so unfavorably in our poll.

Despite being in the top two last week, both Cornelius and Mah-Jing have trended toward the bottom of the pack for a majority of the season. Before the last one, Cornelius had yet to win a challenge and Mah-Jing has still not created a winning look and both have only been in the running to win twice. In Episode 8, Cornelius was eliminated by the judges, but saved by Tim Gunn. Needless to say, the two have turned the competition around for themselves are hitting their stride when it counts.

Whether any of these three have what it takes to make it to the Season 15 finale will be part of the story that unfolds next week when “Project Runway” returns for a new episode.
