While Erin Robertson and Laurence Basse continue to lead this week’s predictions to win Season 15 of “Project Runway,” our readers have singled out Brik Allen, the 26-year-old from Baton Rouge, LA, as next to be eliminated with overwhelming 4/11 odds. Do you agree or disagree with our readers’ findings? Hurry — make your “Project Runway” predictions for a chance to top our famous leaderboards. It’s fun and easy, so start now by predicting who will be out next.
After back-to-back weeks of bottom two placement with the judges, Allen’s time may well be up as readers have him far ahead as the most likely to be sent packing this week. Behind him on our elimination chart is Nathalia JMag, the 23-year-old designer from Framingham, MA, who despite being “in” both weeks — not high or low with the judges — now has next-best odds of 10/1 odds. Allen’s critiques have focused on his lack of clarity in his designs, having now created two looks of separates that the judges don’t believe go all that well together. And though JMag’s looks haven’t gone directly before the judges for criticism yet, the underlying issue there seems to be taste-level and construction. In past seasons, the judges have sent designers home for both reasons though Allen’s failure to present clearly “who you are as a designer” to the judges is typically a bigger hurdle to overcome.
