“I died in that moment,” reveals “Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X” castoff Jessica “Figgy” Figueroa to Gold Derby after her elimination in Episode 6 thanks to Adam Klein turning on his former Millennial tribe mates. “I felt like my ghost came out of my body and went to my torch and I blacked out the rest of the way because it’s just so daunting that that happened.”

Adam’s decision was partly due to the fact that Figgy and Taylor Stocker were involved in a hot and heavy romance, and she completely understands why Adam had to vote her out. “You can either stay with a power couple, or you can start a new chapter in your game and I think that’s exactly what Adam was doing. You have these possible numbers so why not flip the game around? You have an idol and you know you’re not going home regardless.”

As for her romantic relationship with Taylor, did the lovebirds stay together after the show ended? “Taylor and I cared about each other — past tense ‘cared,'” admits Figgy. “The legend of Figtails has been put to rest. There were things outside of the game that I found out and it was in our best interest to not be together. I like to compare Taylor to a 12-year-old boy who’s just had his first wet dream. Taylor is the ultimate Millennial, he just doesn’t care, he doesn’t think about life, he doesn’t think about anyone but himself.”

Also in our Q&A podcast, Figgy chats about whether she regrets letting the entire game know she was happy Michelle Schubert wasn’t eliminated, she confesses what she really thought of host Jeff Probst‘s comment about whether she’d marry Taylor, and reveals who she wants to win the $1 million prize.
