“I can’t believe what’s happening right now,” dishes “Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X” castoff Lucy Huang to Gold Derby after her elimination in Episode 4 thanks to David Wright playing his hidden immunity idol to save Jessica Lewis. “Everything was going the way it was supposed to be and I just thought, wow, what is this guy doing?”
Listen to our full exit interview above and then make your “Survivor” predictions for a chance to top our famous leaderboards. It’s fun and easy, so start now by predicting who will be eliminated next.
“I was able to get everybody to vote against Jessica, or almost everybody, and nothing could have been better that day,” says a still-shocked Lucy. “But the insecurities started coming up at the end when I didn’t know that Ken McNickle spoke to Jessica and then Jessica came up to me, and I’m like, okay, I was trying to prevent all this chaos.”
Looking ahead, Lucy says that she hopes Chris Hammons wins the $1 million prize and becomes the sole “Survivor” for Season 33. She declares, “Not only is he strong, but he has a big heart.” And at the other end of the spectrum, she hopes that David goes home next, joking, “Oh my God, do you even need to ask?”
Also in our Q&A podcast, Lucy chats about what she thought of the “Millennials vs. Gen X” twist, whether she was okay with ousting Paul Wachter last week, and if she understands Ken’s decision to throw her under the bus.
