Wednesday’s emotional episode, titled “Signed, Sealed and Delivered,” saw Caleb, Debbie Wanner and Cydney Gillon all taken down by heat exhaustion during the reward challenge, though Caleb’s condition was the worst and he had to be removed from the game via a helicopter.

“I don’t even remember being put it in,” Caleb explains. “In the air somewhere in there, I had woken up once. I was awake for maybe a minute, and I was back out again. From what I remember, they said that it was a two-hour helicopter ride from [the island] to the hospital.”

“I got dropped off in an ambulance and then we hit this really huge bump,” he recalls. “I remember we hit a hole or something in the road and it kind of woke me up a little bit. And then from that point on, I was a little sluggish, but I remember everything, from the ambulance to the ICU. I was back full force and I was awake.”

Also in our chat, Caleb discusses his bromance with Tai Trang, who his tribe would have voted out next had he stayed, and the major differences between playing “Survivor” and “Big Brother.” Click the video above to listen to our Q&A podcast.
