Expect lots of fireworks on Monday’s episode of “The Voice” from artists on the teams of Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus. While their rival coaches Adam Levine and Alicia Keys almost have their teams completely set, Shelton and Cyrus have to pair up several of their contender for the final knockout round. The 20 artists remaining after Monday’s show will move on to the first live round next week. Who will emerge to join the past 10 winners in this photo gallery of the Emmy-winning NBC reality program?
Let’s take a look at where things stand on “The Voice” going into the last knockout matches of this 11th season:
Team Blake has three artists that are guaranteed to move forward to next week: Courtney Harrell, Jason Warrior, and Sundance Head. Four of his contenders — Austin Allsup, Dana Harper, Gabe Broussard, and Karlee Metzger — will pair off (not sure of who battles who yet). Two of those will be declared safe and will be in his top five. He has no steals remaining for this season.
Team Miley has the most uncertainty of any of the coaches. The only two contenders so far that are assured of live slots are Ali Caldwell and Belle Jewel. Six of her artists will battle (again, not sure of the match-ups) on Monday: Aaron Gibson, Darby Walker, Josette Diaz, Josh Halverson, Maye Thomas, and Sophia Urista. Three will be chosen by her to move forward to the following week. She has no steals remaining this season.
Team Adam has four contestants already determined for the live shows: Billy Gilman, Josh Gallagher, Riley Elmore, and Simone Gundy. He has only one pairing on Monday featuring Brendan Fletcher vs. Nolan Neal to add one more member to his top five. He has no steals remaining for this season.
Team Alicia has claimed three contenders for the next live round: Christian Cuevas, We` McDonald, and Kylie Rothfield. She only has one pairing for Monday of Michael Sanchez for Sa’Rayah. One of those artists will move forward, and she will be able to steal one artist from another team to complete her top five.
