‘The Voice’ Top 11: Did coach Miley Cyrus lose Darby Walker or Aaron Gibson from her team on Tuesday?

The second live elimination on Season 11 of “The Voice” took place Tuesday evening, and it was Team Miley Cyrus that was narrowed from three artists to two after both Darby Walker and Aaron Gibson were named as the week’s bottom two. Alicia Keys and her two remaining artists felt the comfort of safety for the first time, joining the entire teams of Adam Levine and Blake Shelton in next week’s Top 10. Before Darby and Aaron sang for safety, season 13 winner Jordan Smith returned to the stage to sing “O Holy Night,” which viewers voted as the song from his new holiday album they’d most like to hear him perform.

First up to sing for the instant save was Darby, who toned down her flashy style to perform the tender Elton John love song “Your Song.” The judges applauded her individuality and encouraged her to always continue on in that spirit. Aaron brought out his guitar to sing the stripped down George Ezra track “Budapest.” Miley expressed disbelief that Aaron was once again in the bottom after throwing down one of the best performances on Monday’s live show. In the end Aaron saved himself once again, earning what appeared to be 73% of the live Twitter vote and Darby was eliminated.
