Has Daryl Dixon‘s time finally come to an end on “The Walking Dead“? Our readers give Norman Reedus‘ fan-favorite character overwhelming 11/5 odds (31% chance) of being killed off on Sunday’s Season 6 finale, titled “Last Day on Earth.” Watch AMC’s trailer below, and then make your “The Walking Dead” predictions for a chance to top our famous leaderboards. It’s fun and easy, so get started by scrolling down to predict which character will be killed off next.
According to exclusive Gold Derby odds that are derived from the predictions made by readers like you, Daryl is forecasted to die this week ahead of every other Main character. These current odds come off the heels of last week’s jawdropping cliffhanger that saw Daryl shot by ex-Savior Dwight while he was trying to free Glenn Rhee and Michonne.
Amazingly, there hasn’t been a single Main character death yet this season — that is, an actor or actress whose name is billed in the main title sequence. Earlier this season, Glenn was thought to be dead but he lived to see another day, much to the delight of the “Walking Dead” fanbase. Will Daryl be the first major casualty of Season 6?
Should he survive, our readers give Glenn the next-best odds to die at 9/2 (18% chance). Following Daryl and Glenn, the “No One” option and Abraham Ford are tied at 13/2 odds apiece (13% chance).
Here is AMC’s official description of Episode 16: “Rick Grimes and the group must go outside the walls to save one of their own. What they experience on the road will change their lives forever.”
