Has Tara Chambler‘s time finally come to an end on “The Walking Dead“? Our readers give Alanna Masterson‘s newly single character 8/1 odds (11% chance) of being killed off in Sunday’s all-new episode, titled “East.” Watch AMC’s trailer below, and then make your “The Walking Dead” predictions for a chance to top our famous leaderboards. It’s fun and easy, so get started by scrolling down to predict which character will be killed off next.
According to exclusive Gold Derby odds that are derived from the predictions made by readers like you, Tara is forecasted to die this week ahead of every other Recurring character. The “No One” option is the overwhelming choice of our contest entrants, however, with leading 4/9 odds (70% chance).
These current odds come off the heels of last week’s emotional episode that saw Tara’s girlfriend, Dr. Denise Cloyd (Merritt Wever), murdered by Dwight‘s group of ex-Saviors. Since Tara is currently away on a mission, she is not yet aware that her lover is dead.
Here is AMC’s official description of Episode 15: “Alexandria is alerted after realizing someone is missing. Several search parties will venture out, but what they find isn’t what they’re hoping for.”
Congratulations to SamEckmann for earning the top score in last week’s contest. He’s one of two contest entrants to reap perfect 100% accuracy predicting all of the questions this week, though he broke the tie with his high 14,100 point score thanks to using his special 500 and 200 point bets wisely and locking in the best odds throughout the week.
This reader’s winning predictions were that no Main or Minor characters would be killed off, that Denise would die amongst the group of Recurring characters, that less than 10 walkers would die, and that a walker would not bite someone.
Check out the overall Season 6 leaderboard to the right. Currently our #1 “TWD” predictor is SamEckmann with overall 84% accuracy and 49,519 points, but there is still time to play in our contest before season’s end. Don’t forget to update YOUR predictions here.
At the end of each week, the eligible user with the highest prediction accuracy and most points will be the leaderboard champ for the week, so it’s beneficial to keep coming back often and making/updating your predictions.
To vote for who you think will die next, drag your choices over from the left to the right and arrange them in your predicted order. Every time someone logs their predictions, the racetrack odds for the characters are automatically updated.
Gold Derby readers just like YOU often turn out to be our smartest prognosticators, so it’s important that you give us your predictions. You can continue to update and change your forecasts throughout the week, just click “Save Predictions” when you’ve settled on your choice.

Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.
