Tony Awards 2016 presenters: Common, Josh Groban, Chita Rivera, Keri Russell added to starry lineup

Oscar-winning songwriter Common, Grammy nominee Josh Groban, Broadway legend Chita Rivera and “The Americans” star Keri Russell lead the latest round of presenters announced for the 70th annual Tony Awards. The live show is slated for this Sunday (June 12) on CBS and will be hosted by past Tony winner James Corden who now fronts the Tiffany net talker “Late Late Show with James Corden.” Click here to watch our recent interview with Corden as he discusses his upcoming emcee gig.

Among the other names revealed on Friday are past Tony winners Christian Borle, Nikki M. James, Bebe Neuwirth and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Also scheduled to present are: Meg Ryan, Aaron Tveit and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Producers confirmed that there will be performances from the five Best Musical nominees (“Bright Star,” “Hamilton,” “School of Rock,” “Shuffle Along” and “Waitress”), the four Best Musical Revival contenders (“The Color Purple,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “She Loves Me” and “Spring Awakening) and “On Your Feet,” which tells the story of Gloria Estefan and was nominated for Best Choreography.

Previously announced presenters include Oscar winners Cate Blanchett and Barbra Streisand, past Tony champs Neil Patrick Harris, James Earl Jones, Nathan Lane, Angela Lansbury, Audra McDonald and Patina Miller, current Tony nominees Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, as well as Uzo Aduba, Claire Danes, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Sean Hayes, Daniel Dae Kim, Carole King, Diane Lane, Lucy Liu, Andrew Rannells, Saoirse Ronan, Blair Underwood and Oprah Winfrey.
