The Academy of Country Music announced that it will reveal the nominees for the 52nd Annual ACM Awards on Thursday, February 16. Lady Antebellum, who have won 10 ACM Awards, will appear on “CBS This Morning” at 8:00am Eastern (delayed on the west coast) to announce some of the nominees. Then at 8:50am Eastern (5:50am Pacific) “Entertainment Tonight” hosts Nancy O’Dell and Kevin Frazier will announce more contenders on ETonline.com. After that the full list of nominations will be available at ACMcountry.com.
At last year’s ACM Awards, Jason Aldean was the surprise winner of Entertainer of the Year. That was the first victory in the top category for Aldean, who had been nominated four times before. But the most awarded artist of the night was Chris Stapleton, who won six out of his seven nominations, including Male Vocalist of the Year. Miranda Lambert claimed Female Vocalist of the Year for the seventh year in a row.
The ACM Award winners will be announced during a live telecast at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday, April 2, from 8:00pm-11:00pm Eastern (tape delayed on the west coast) on the CBS Television Network. Will last year’s champs defend their titles, or will we see a new batch of winners?
