2018 SAG Awards nominations: Full list of Screen Actors Guild Awards nominees

Nominations for the 24th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were revealed on Wednesday, Dec. 13  at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood by Olivia Munn and Niecy NashThese awards, honoring the best achievements in film and television performances for the year 2017, will be presented on Jan. 21, 2018 on both TNT and TBS beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Morgan Freeman will be feted with the Life Achievement Award.

The SAG Awards nominations were decided by a randomly selected nominations panel comprising 2,500 members of the merged Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists unions. The winners will be decided by all 121,000 members of SAG-AFTRA.

For the first time in the history of these guild awards, there is to be a host with Kristen Bell getting the gig. As she wryly observed when this news broke earlier this month, “I’ve been asked to host the SAG Awards this year, which means, to all my friends who’ve been nominated, I get to choose who wins!” Told this was not the case, she then observed, “That’s not how it works? Then what am I doing? Like, Anne Hathaway and James Franco did? I’m doing that? Why, did I lose a bet?”
